I have served as a math and science teacher in fourth and fifth grade. I have helped move the school from a C school to an A school by providing differentiated instruction to meet the needs of a wide variety of students. I have collaborated with my peers to supplement the curriculum where needed to increase the rigor of various resources when appropriate. I designed and created all of the standards based formative and summative math assessments from 2017-2021. I designed and created all of the standards based formative and summative math assessments from 2017-2021. I served as a hybrid teacher during the 2020-2021 school year and had 100% of my lowest quartile student make learning gains that year on the FSA. I have served as a supervising teacher for three internship 1 students from UCF. I have assumed numerous leadership roles including team leader, tutorial coordinator for grades 3-5, B.E.S.T. Transition Ambassador, PLC leader, School Advisory Council President, and School Advisory Council Secretary. I have served as a dismissal traffic director since 2018. I served as an Administrative Intern where I developed the school wide master schedule, analyzed test data to calculate school grade, created resources for pre-planning, and updated the school's employee handbook.
