Substitute Teacher

As a substitute teacher, I am given the incredible opportunity to work with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade in multiple different subjects. While being in charge of 15-22 students I am responsible for keeping everyone safe in the classroom, and teaching what I am able to teach depending on the age. I have been a teacher for every grade 1-8 and have also been a gym substitute. I am most comfortable teaching math, and by finding ways to make the problems make sense for each student I ensure they are learning and improving. Show less

Head Lifeguard

As a Head Lifeguard, I had all the same duties as a normal guard but was also the guard who was in charge when I worked my shifts. My duties as Head Guard were to maintain a clean pool area, communicate with patrons when issues arise, remove patrons who don't follow pool rules, administer swim tests, and assist my team with anything they might need help with while working with me.
