      In the Micro/Bio/Nanofluidic Unit, guided by prof. Amy Q. Shen, I worked at the Optimization of a Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance biosensor. I gained experience in using nanofabrication tools to develop and characterize plasmonic nanostructures. In particular, I was a routine user of thin film evaporator, reactive ion etching and scanning electron microscope instruments. I also learnt protein immobilization techniques based on thiol chemistry for fluorescence and plasmonic biosensing. I am currently performing simple plasmonic nanostructures modeling by using COMSOL multiphysics. Show less
