My main responsibilities are: • Coordination of IT teams and products associated with each business unit • Annual budget definition for each area initiatives and trimester capacity plans of the IT teams to support it according to profiles and technical skills needed • Elaborate business cases for IT implementations by joining business needs, inputs and estimated outcomes with IT efforts, costs, and timings. Direct participation on the discussion of these business cases at C-Level • Negotiate project plans with stakeholders splitting the scope in MVPs, project phases and final solutions to improve TTM and fast value delivery • Weakly initiative report with 1st line area Directors • Scope of business needs and define high-level business requirements. Expose implementation risks, limitations, and process impacts (direct and indirect) and propose best possible solutions. • Submit the business requirements to IT architecture teams. Discuss and clarify requirements to lead into achievable solutions • Ensure quality consistent deliveries from all software components • Support project managers and analysts to solve project and solution roadblocks • Support business teams in the acceptance phases of the project

Customer Data Project Manager

In May 2018, I was hired by TAP as an IT project manager in the Marketing Business Unit. Since then, I have been in charge of multiple projects related to the Customer Relationship systems. The main project was the implementation of a new Customer Data Management solution based in the Informatica MDM and Informatica DataQuality. This new solution took a different MDM approach and addressed some structural gaps found in the old one and also new features, allowing TAP to go a step further… Show more In May 2018, I was hired by TAP as an IT project manager in the Marketing Business Unit. Since then, I have been in charge of multiple projects related to the Customer Relationship systems. The main project was the implementation of a new Customer Data Management solution based in the Informatica MDM and Informatica DataQuality. This new solution took a different MDM approach and addressed some structural gaps found in the old one and also new features, allowing TAP to go a step further when it comes to the relationship with its final customer. The objective is clear: TAP wants to obtain a comprehensive view about the customer by collecting the most recent data across all the touch-points and feed the CRM, BI and other systems with accurate data and as real-time as possible. In this project, I assumed the role of project manager and product Owner. My main tasks were: • project plan (hybrid: waterfall with agile sprints) • steering meetings with Sponsors and Business Partners • coordinating the project team, which is composed of around 20 co-workers (TAP team and Integrator) and includes functional analysts, software architects, developers, testers, DBA’s • coordinating with other teams’ project managers to address changes in their systems according to the project scope • communicating with suppliers (including contract technical review) • business analysis and scope definition/review with business stakeholders • product design decisions • road-map definition for the future This project became live on May 2020 with the contribution of most than 80 persons. Its last months and its complex rollout were fully remote with everyone working from their homes due to the pandemic. I also worked in other small projects either as a project manager or SME(for customer data and data quality subjects) like Campaign Management, Salesforce CRM implementation and Operational Irregularities Response(algorithm to speed-up back-office decision about customer claims).

I was the leader of this process across all its stages (RFI, RFP, final evaluation, development scenarios, planning, business case and final project approval), which lead to the implementation of a new Customer Data Management solution. Leader of a project team of 5 persons with both technical and functional profiles in all of the project stages, from the evaluation of tools in the market to the delivery of a working solution including scooping, design (functional and technical specification), project control and direct report to the IT directors, tests and roll-out. The centralized solution works as reference for multiple systems. Supports, for instance, CRM, Billing, Field Force Management, Rating Engine, Self-Care Portals and Business Intelligence (among other systems). In charge of all architectural decisions ensuring that the presented technical solution fulfills the business requirements in areas such as: • Analysis of Product OOTB features and its adjustment to requisites. • Definition of custom developments needed to overcome product GAPs and satisfy the needs; • Integration through SSIS (ETL, Batch, Web Service) with information consumers/suppliers. Design of generic processes that ensure scalability of the overall solution. Definition of validation processes to ensure Data Quality in the data integration process; • Definition of the Migration Strategy for roll-outs and a long term plan for the coexistence of the new solution and the Legacy Tools ensuring zero impact to suppliers/consumers; • Plan and implement the development lifecycle of the tool in compliance with company internal policies; • Definition of a scalable IFT architecture and its specs to support 3 autonomous environments (Development, Quality and Production); • Preparation of the documentation and training material. I participated in structural IT projects such as CRM (Siebel), Online Customer Self Care Areas, Integration Platform (TIBCO) and other continuous initiatives for OSS, BSS as Reference Data expert with main duties: • Promotion of the system architecture best practices in line with the Canonical Data Model; • Performing functional and technical analysis of business requirements; • Reference Data management involving advanced data analysis with several different tools. Ongoing initiatives support. In CRM project, that was a partnership with Accenture Portugal, I was the main expert of the Reference Data subjects for Phases 2 and 3 (for enterprise and wireless segments) and also in its complementary initiatives like Segmentation Module, Partner Management Module, Catalog Management System and others. As the LTI Manager the tasks included the coordination of activities and schedules, recruitment and selection processes, training, financial management and payments. As a System Admin the main duties were: • Responsible for the operation of the LTI servers and Network (AD, DNS, DHCP, Firewal, Web and Exchange Servers); • Software and Hardware maintenance and upgrade plan both for the end users computers and LTI servers and networks. With those main technical challenges: • Implementation of a new and redundant AD Domain to over 100 computers, based on Windows Server 2008; • Migration of the old LTI website from PHP 3.0 into a modular platform based in Drupal and complemented with custom PHP 4.0 modules; • Deployment of a new internal network structure and equipment to increase from 100Mbps to 1Gbps and support ghost replication in Gigabit; • Installation of a Network Storage with RAID support.
