  I am a seasoned patent attorney with a proven track record of delivering results. I provide a unique interdisciplinary technical perspective and a wealth of patent prosecution experience. I offer a sophisticated approach to patent projects of all types, proactively managing risk to avoid pitfalls while maximizing opportunities. I have been entrusted to oversee strategic patent portfolio procurement for significant technologies and have had broad exposure to the patent requirements of foreign jurisdictions such as Canada, Mexico, China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and European countries, among others. I conduct and oversee noninfringement, right-to-use and clearance studies; patent design-around efforts and analysis; patent invalidity studies; and renders opinions in high stakes matters. I am called upon to counsel clients in offensive and defensive patent enforcement scenarios and disputes to advance or defend client positions. I practice in the mechanical arts, electrical and electro-mechanical arts and software arts and enjoy learning new technologies. From standalone products to complex machines and systems-level technologies, including associated controls, software, interfaces and algorithms, I have successfully obtained valuable patent protection domestically and abroad for commercially implemented products and product lines generating significant revenue. Partnering closely with my clients, I understand not just their technologies but also their businesses to drive optimal results. I have routinely handled significant, high-profile patent matters for a range of clients including Fortune 500 companies and also counsel small-to-medium-size companies, working directly with executives to execute their business plans, and occasionally works with independent inventors who have big dreams for their inventions.
