• Creation and running of all planned maintenance schedules and adhoc breakdown repair for Expro’s well services department in Rabi, Gabon. This includes a fleet of 9 MAN TGA 33.400 HW200 slick-line trucks (Including MAN-CATS II diagnostics) with ASEP power-packs, winches and cranes, PAT Kruger crane safety systems, as well as 2 well-head maintenance trucks with ASEP power-packs, Palfinger cranes, CAT Triplex HP piston test pumps and dynaset hydraulically driven compressors. • Full maintenance, inspection and repair on 13 Toyota LAN25L pick-ups. • Also base equipment including Rexroth compressors, light plants, Weatherford torque machine and other various Shell owned equipment. • Ordering of spare parts on SAP system and stock upkeep. • Personnel management and liaising with the client are all also part of my daily tasks. • Major maintenance of all machinery, including overhauling of engines, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, compressors, pumps, reverse osmosis plants, centrifuges, filtration systems, winches and various other systems. I worked in the marine environment on MTU, Duetz, Mercedes, Paxman and Napier deltic engines, various makes of gearboxes, as well as Controlable Pitch Propellors, Waterjet, Voigth Schnieder and stardard propulsion systems. • Experience in laser shaft alignment replacing proppellor shafts. • Chief Mechanic in charge of propulsion department with a 32MW power train. This included 2x MTU 1163 diesels driving CPP and a GE LM2500 gas turbine driving a waterjet. • In charge of fire fighting (sprinkers, CO2 and foam flooding) and damage control (venturi suction, ballasting, submersible pumps) aboard SAN Frigate SAS Amatola including supply of breathing air for filling of SCBA and Diving cylinders Show less
