Software project manager and systems analyst responsible for computer programming support for operational global meteorological analysis and forecast models in support of multi million-dollar program. Senior level executive responsible for providing technical leadership and functional management to 26 weather units and 435 personnel supporting United States Air Force, Army, and Navy operations in the Pacific Command area of responsibility. Planned and conducted operational readiness inspections and unit compliance inspections. Developed demanding scenarios to evaluate each unit’s ability to execute wartime missions in support of national, joint and major command directives. Coordinated with staff directorates to develop and revise weather guidance and inspection policy. Completed a three-year tour as Weather Detachment Commander Army Post in Illesheim, Germany. Interacted with Army S6 on all electronic meteorological equipment on Post. Deployed to Croatia, Bosnia, and Iraq. Responsible for all Air Force, Army, Navy, & Marine Corps weather related IT equipment in Iraq. Show less
