If only I had a dollar for every time Bruce Pearson has helped save the day in our office. He is brilliant, impeccable in his research and work product, helps you think (and often thinks ahead of you), and is faultlessly easy to work with. This is a man who started with us at a time when both of the senior people in the department were absent for weeks. It is not an exaggeration to say that Bruce kept the department and its programs up and running and on time. And he did this as an "intern!" It is no wonder that everyone on staff campaigned for him to be hired full-time, as he soon was. I can say without hesitation that Bruce is the rare find that you want on your team.

I learned how Bruce is a highly educated and skilled program/curriculum builder at the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict (Washington). Here, to my pleasant surprise, I also got a sense of his educated interests in music and teaching as well as insights in the musical arts in general. Bruce brings a passionate and knowledgeable approach to understanding the complex issues of a globalizing world, which I am sure can be of great value to roles in conflict transformation in International Relations. I appreciated Bruce's thoroughness and agility in the management of contractor projects as well as online courses/events for the sharing of resources and learning in academic and activist initiatives. Also, I surely recommend Bruce for his work ethic and high-level skills in intercultural communication. It's a pleasure to learn from a person like Bruce!
