Operations Technician, 2019 Monitored and operated seven different workstations to maintain plant integrity and quality standards. • Ensured assembly processes were safely and properly adhered to. • Selected to become certified in-house to inspect the aluminum fuel control components for defects. • Identified and implemented ways to streamline processes while maintaining a “safety first” environment; increased efficiency at all seven different work stations. • Introduced continuous improvement projects to reduce work station non-conformances. • Created holding fixtures and location brackets for laser marking parts – enabling team members to mark parts in the exact location every time. Team Leader: Manual Deburring Process Development, 2016 to 2019 Promoted to lead and oversee teams in the Manual Deburring Process Department. • Established processes that improved quality and reduced waste throughout the assembly line. • Designed a new Deburring Process, resulting in a 90% improvement in PPM, a 12.7-day reduction in lead time, and a $450,000 reduction in inventory. • Runner up for President Innovation Award recognizing Outstanding Operations Improvement. Team Leader: Robotic Deburring Development, 2015 to 2016 Promoted to collaborate with a cross-functional team to test the capability of automated deburring using Fuji Automatic NUmerical Control (FANUC) Robots.
