William Frantz
Bruce possess the most well-rounded collection of skills I have ever encountered. He is a top-notch automotive engineer and mechanic with deep experience in powertrain design. Bruce is a successful, small business entrepreneur having created and managed a chain of local retailers and IT services. He is also an expert in physical training and fitness. All of this adds up to one impressive systems engineer and business leader. Over 20 years I have watched Bruce conquer one field after another. I don't think there is anything this guy can't do.

Bruce was a colleague of mine during 9 years of working within the Test Technology group of General Motors Powertrain. His projects were always on-time and delivered with professionalism. The challenges he pursued outside of his day job however were the most impressive expression of Bruce’s full range of skills. I’m still in awe recalling his turbo-charged, composite-framed motorcycle and his quick release snowboard bindings, even more striking considering his relatively limited prior knowledge within these fields. The organizational leadership demonstrated during his years of increasingly senior positions within Formula SAE, an annual competition involving a literal sea of more than 500 engineering students, volunteers and their vehicles from around the world, is equally remarkable. In the years since leaving General Motors, I have developed high standards for competence leading high growth organizations. I can state unequivocally that Bruce is one of the finest engineers and managers I’ve had the privilege of working with in my 20 years as an engineer, business analyst and manager. I whole hardily recommend Bruce for any position where technology is leveraged in the solution to a problem or pursuit of a market

While at Georgia Institute of Technology, I participated in a national student design competition. In 1990 I lead my team to second in the nation. From 1990 to 1996 I acted as an organizer representative for GM. As a member of the Organization Committee which ran the event, as well as a member of the Rule making body, I played a large role in the student experience, as well as in the recruiting opportunity for GM.
