RPL & Advanced Welding Lecturer
-
Oct 2010 - Aug 2011
Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) Developer & Assessor I was hired as a Casual VET Lecturer, teaching apprentices and RPL candidates advanced welding & fabrication, however I branched off and started developing RPL Kits for the Engineering & automotive trades. Soon, I was 95% RPL Development and assessment, I was offered the role of RPL Coordinator of all the trade divisions based on the kits I had developed within the Engineering team. This would including mentoring the other sectors on how to RPL and develop the business. Rohan Badenhop my Team Leader & Mentor can verify my skills in this including Excel, Word and Access tool use. I left CDU only because there was no further room for my expansion and I saw another opportunity to get back into the construction business, an area I am most comfortable in. I moved toward this job because I wanted to further my skills in Training, Personal Development and to teach what I know about welding to the newer generations.
