Created a script to automatically download needed software and set up needed directories for local development. Took onboarding time down from 2 weeks to 1 day. New developers could then get tickets to work on their first day. • Lead project to have highly available Apache Solr index updates. Using collection aliases I was able to achieve the ability to completely delete an index and rebuild it without affecting the search capabilites of a collection of over a milllion documents.
