Brooke again skippered the Knights to another West Coast League Crown in 2021 for Back-to-Back-to-Back-to-Back-to-Back titles and has directed them to thirteen consecutive West Division playoff appearances from 2008-17, and to the 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016 & 2017, 2018, 2019, &2021 WCL Championship Series. Knight was the West Coast League Coach of the Year in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013 & 2017, 2019, & 2021. His 13-year mark as the Knights' field general is unprecedented. This is Brooke's fourteenth year in management with the Knights. He played college baseball at Oregon State and at Western Oregon, and for the Knights during the summers of 1991, 1992 and 1994. Brooke coached the Perth Heat in the MLB-funded Australian Baseball League to back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012. He worked as a scout in the San Diego area for the Montreal Expos (2001) and the Florida Marlins (2002-2003). He recently managed the Adelaide Bite in the 2013-2014 ABL season & the 2014-2015 season where Adelaide won the Minor Premiership. After a hiatus from Perth, and his two-year stop in Adelaide, Brooke managed the Perth Heat again for the 2019-2020 season.
