During my employment at 22 Bowen's Wine Bar and Grille I would arrive before management and serving staff and work efficiently to ready the restaurant for daily operations. My daily job tasks started with interpreting schedules, operating and organizing OpenTable to create reservations and establish the layout of the restaurant and cleaning and re-stocking the restaurant.Throughout the course of the average work day I would greet and strategically seat guests, continuously work with guests over the phone and in person to create reservations and create third-party billing forms, give status updates of the restaurant and keeping the restaurant clean and in-order.

My internship with the Newport Gulls was one of the most educational and enjoyable experiences that I have had to date. Working with the Gulls organization really proved that I was interested and passionate about working in the sports marketing industry. I worked closely with the general manager in order to build the season up to be a total success.I had a wide-range of duties pre-season that included creating and coordinating the Newport Gulls first annual silent auction, setting up summer camps and organizing the tuition fees and information that came with the camps, and contacting players to write player profiles which were published in the local newspaper. I dealt with social media analytics to find out which of the social media outlets that the Gulls used was successful and what advertisements were working in attracting guests to the games. In the preseason operations, Excel and Microsoft Word were essential in keeping all of the information organized and I had the opportunity to work with the program and hone my skills. During the season, game day operations were the main priority for all of the interns. We worked as a team with the manager of the team to make sure that everything ran smoothly. We arrived early to the stadium and set all of the equipment up that would be necessary for a successful game and at the end of the game we broke everything down and stored it properly.
