The Manager will coordinate a year-round cultivation and solicitation program that supports all annual fund programs and efforts specifically through the Circle of Care Giving Club, direct mail and the three special events (Starlight Gala, Golf Classic, and Kick the Competition Kickball tournament.Responsibilities:Annual Fund:Work with Director to develop and lead a comprehensive annual appeal program, including strategies to incorporate, additional giving levels, focus on new donors, and increasing average gift amounts.Organizes annual fund solicitations, including timing and nature of appeals, writing copy, working with outside vendors (as necessary) to manage all aspects of production.Conducts personal solicitations.Coordinate and manage all special event in association with Giving Clubs.Manage stewardship activities to assure regular contact with donors by Executive Director, Director of Development and other key individuals.Special Events:Coordinate and/or establish necessary committees for all events.Create and effectively manage budget for all events.Coordinate all solicitations of corporate and individual sponsorship's.Coordinate all Annual Giving marketing activities with Director of Marketing.Coordinate all event logistics.Secure at least 90% of goal prior to the day of the event.Send thank-you cards to all donors who contributed that evening, as well as key prospects following the event, thanking them for their support.
