      The REACH program is a six-and-a-half week leader in training program for rising high school juniors. The program is based on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in South Dakota for just under three weeks, where participants have increased leadership opportunity,time with children, and cultural exchange. On camp participants work with a variety of ages and progressively become more involved and responsible for child-care and activity planning. The two REACH Directors are responsible for the supervision of the twelve 16 year-olds throughout the entire program, and complete regular evaluations and check-ins with each participant to aide in their leadership progression. Directors also manage the trip itinerary and arrangements, as well as budget and complete follow-up paperwork. Show less
