Managed 40 endpoints and 5 servers on a daily basis, including upgrades and replacements. Instituted a backup system including a failover server and off-site copies of data using Veeam Backup and Recovery. Also created an effective battery backup setup within allowed budget for all servers. Lowered costs for IT by downgrading MSP involvement, changing MSP for emergency coverage, and changing email from MSP hosted email to Office 365. Set up multiple Linux Virtual machines for handling documentation, file storage, and asset management. Converted an outdated FoxPro database into a web application for easier searching and access of old receipts. Managed all technical contacts with contractors and vendors, especially with our critical system’s technical support.
