Brittnie is full of energy and enthusiasm for environmental education and people who want to learn about the world of nature. She is a hard worker who is good at putting together and delivering traveling and field environmental education programs and managing people, even with short notice. Her experience with outdoor programs has shown her to be versatile and able to handle a variety of weather conditions and still be able to beam her A+ smile.

My years within this program have taught me a number of skills that I have taken to my own life and other work places. I would love to speak more about this program and the skills I have gained. I have some hilarious children stories to share as well.

As a Summer Educator I facilitated weekly thematic summer camps. In 2017 and summer 2018 I worked with multiply age groups and with a multitude of environmental themes. Some camps were based out of the Audubon building, while others utilized bus or van transportation to locations. Staying within budget, I planned each day of the week and locations to go to as needed. This role gave me autonomy as an Educator and structure as a staff member. Additionally, I would mentor and support Inters with their goals for themselves and programing. Themes included: Jr. Wild Life Vet, Owls, Gnomes, Hibernation, Insects, Fishing, Birding 101, Backyard Birds, Earth Sciences and over night camps such as Archery and Survival. Show less

As a Team Lead (coordinator), my role was primarily to assist Ticket Agents in over the counter transactions related to ticket exchanges, reprints, and refunds during the 2017 and 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Prior to staff arrival the Box Office was setup and prepared for training needs. Agents were trained with a hands-on, practice approach that I initiated as necessary. Over the coarse of the festivals my role was also to be the next supervisor up to resolve patron's conflicts with policies. I had a positive outlook for conflicts and did my best to honor both the Sundance Policies and the patron's hopes. During the 2017 festival representatives from the ticketing program Sundance uses were on site to help staff learn and customize the program to best fit Sundance needs. I helped to develop a flagging system for lost/stolen tickets, and scalper watch. Show less

Sundance Film Festival for the month of January 2016. I worked in the Call Center prior to the festival to help patriots/donors/industry personnel to purchase tickets within their ticket packages. During the festival I sold individual tickets to films for more than 12,000 attendees. I managed many people at their best and sadly more people at their worst. Explaining policies, film descriptions, and Festival happenings to help people enjoy their experiences. I was proud to do my part in connecting the stories to the viewers. Sundance is/was a rewarding adventure. Show less
