The newly re-imagined domino, launched in October 2013, captures the spirit of self-expression for design enthusiasts everywhere and encourages consumers to bring their personal style home. It defines the online convergence between content, community and commerce. As Managing Editor, I assist the Editorial Director by supervising the editorial team and keeping the print editorial process moving from conceptualization of stories to production of print magazine. I assemble issue line ups, production schedules, budgets, and weekly company-wide print updates, while holding and arranging the editorial calendar, communicating with subjects, enlisting photographers, and collaborating with other domino media group departments, like sales/marketing to create innovative custom and branded content. In addition to writing a fair amount of copy (anywhere from 20-35% of print issue), I oversee all facets of the writing and design process (writing, photographers, art director, production, etc.).
