I received applications for the Zoning Board, answered questions from the public via phone and when people visit the office. I have composed agendas and minutes for the meetings when they are scheduled. I have also organized packets for each of the members of the Zoning Board to review prior to the meeting. I have also performed identical tasks when I was the office assistant of the Architectural Review Board for the Town of East Hampton. My responsibilities at St. Charles were to meet with patients to discuss discharge planning. This is so that they had the necessary medical equipment and additional therapies provided for them if needed. I also co-facilitated three different support groups: an epilepsy, spinal cord injury, and stroke support group. I was also been responsible for reaching out to other agencies to gather information about their specific detox/substance abuse programs in preparation for St. Charles to open their new detox unit. I will sometimes contact insurance companies if there is any question as to what kind of benefits or equipment might be covered under a patient's insurance.

I had a caseload of six students who I met with weekly for counseling on both an individual and group basis. I helped the students address and cope with issues that were somehow negatively impacting them within the school environment. I also taught social skills classes to children in pre-k and second and third grade. Those social skills classes covered topics such as being a good listener, appropriate behavior in the classroom, good manners and other important topics. I also was responsible for monitoring the students goals as noted on the child's IEP (Individualized Education Plan). At the end of the year, I was to present the student's progress in an annual meeting with the rest of the team.
