Shadowed a CPI unit and learned the daily routines and procedures that are involved with getting a case. Observed multiple field visits and attended events and meetings that took place. Helped with office work (calling collaterals, calling schools, clients, doctors, making referrals, etc.). Learned how to read intake and priors, home study process, removal process. Observing field visits where JSO had to be involved while learning which situations need JSO. Learned the types of services that can be provided to families in need and making recommendations.
