REMINGTON SCOTT
In 2010 I served as a committee member responsible for selecting 10 interns for the Hawaii Animation Internship Program. We received over 100 applications, many of whom were extremely talented, making the selection process difficult. Except for choosing Brittany. That was an easy decision. As the committee of supervisors and managers watched her animation reel, all fell silent. When it was done, there was not a dry eye in the room! She did something that very few animation students achieve; she told a story with emotion and heart. Her animation supported her story and was just the right balance of artistic and technical accomplishments. As an intern, she worked through each task that we gave her meticulously, and quietly, with dedication to the craft that exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend her for animation projects that want well rounded, thoughtful and unique contributions to their productions. There's more to her than keyframes, she can bring it to life.
