  I assist the lab technicians by running quality control and maintenance on some of our analyzers, loading samples onto analyzers, preparing gram stains for blood cultures, dispensing blood units, when blood units come in I log them into the system and perform confirmation retypes of the units and run CLIA Waived testing such as Flu, RSV, rapid strep A, mononucleosis, HIV and C.diff. I also do inventory counts and ordering for the all departments.
