  Vascular surgery stem cell research. We examined the impact of disturbed (to and fro flow) versus normal (pulsatile forward flow) mechanical stimuli and chemical stimuli (thrombin) on the expression of tissue factor RNA and the phosphorylation of platelet endothelial cell adhesion marker (PECAM-1).   Survial neurosurgery to implant octrodes used to map neural responses to odors. We essentially aimed to map the neurons associated with various stimuli.   I worked as a research coordinator and summer clinical research center fellow in the pediatric neuroendocrine unit. We looked at how hypoestrogenism in athletes and eating disordered adolescents impacted bone mineral density. I was responsible for social meeting techniques for recruiting, scheduling, debriefing, and data entry/analysis.
