Major responsibilities included the implementation of the Ontario Drinking Water Stewardship Program (ODWSP), planning outreach routes to optimize efficiency, and the creation and management of an Excel database of 489 landowners with 816 significant drinking water threats. Developed an outreach script and created a pre-recorded message sent to landowners to deliver information about the door-to-door outreach for their area. Spoke directly with land and business owners to enhance education and facilitated uptake of available funding opportunities. Additional responsibilities included implementing additional stewardship programs through site visits, landowner consultations, and promoted available grant streams for various projects such as runoff and erosion control, and shoreline naturalization. Consulted with landowners on best management practices on their properties to reduce runoff, protect their property from erosion, deter nuisance wildlife, improve biodiversity, and water quality through the use of natural techniques. Participated in shoreline naturalization planting project at Killarney Bay Parkette and developed first draft of an educational sign for the project site.
