In my role at Socious I manage the Higher Education User Group as well as the Socious Support Site. The Higher Education User Group (HEUG) is an international organization consisting of Higher Education institutions that use application software from the Oracle Corporation. For the Higher Education User Group, I wear many different hats in my role as Sr. Director of Administration. I manage their online community of 33,000 members, annual membership as well as help the board of directors in their strategic initiatives. My role also includes the following: • Maintain and execute an annual membership plan resulting in over $450K in revenue annually • Annual strategic planning with the board of directors to insure long-term viability • Participate and drive strategic website and education initivies with the Oracle and other HEUG partners • Help execute and grow the HEUG's global vision and conference participation through Latin America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Asia-Pacific and Australia & New Zealand • Provide an annual communication & social media strategy for 13+ Conferences • Management of the HEUG Events Mobile Application for 7+ conferences annually • Management of staff members supporting the Higher Education User Group and other Socious Clients • Maintain & update the HEUG’s online community strategy and community engagement • Develop and act as spokesperson for social media strategy for sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube • Track metrics around participation, views, comments, and online interactions, analyzing to improve outreach • Manage 17 Advisory Group communities as well as 10+ work groups • Grown the Higher Education User Group membership from 22,000 members to 33,000 members Show less
