•Led the successful planning and facilitation of over 30, youth-focused, hybrid workshops, trainings, events, and personalized youth check-ins. Firmly rooted in anti-oppressive, intersectional, and culturally sensitive programming, with the overall objective of supporting Black-identifying Youth (ages 13-18) in developing a positive sense of their cultural identity as Black Canadians. •Led the re-launching of Together We Can from conception to implementation, successfully incorporating new and innovative programming additions such as: A Community Advocacy Project, A youth leadership training program, and established core pillars: Civic Engagement, Creative Exploration, Mental Health/Wellness, and providing youth with Leadership opportunities. •Cultivated and maintained relationships with new stakeholders. •Led the digital marketing and outreach strategy that ultimately mobilized highly engaged Peer-Leaders and increasing Workshop’s attendance from the previous year. • Spearheaded the youth-led advocacy campaign Confronting Anti-Black Racism: Youth in Arts from conception to implementation that created a landmark street mural and featured a variety of performing arts performances in Downtown Ottawa. - Created a proposal that successfully secured the maximum funding amount of $10,000. - Led youth in arts empowerment workshops, recruited the youth committee, interviewed guest speakers, established partner relationships with local artists and community leaders, and provided administrative support. • I co-facilitated a Virtual Anti-Racism Forum with over 100 attendees and established new stakeholder relationships.
