Tasmanian MicroBrew Fest 2014 is an opportunity for educational development. The event, run by TasTAFE Drysdale Students provides those involved with a huge educational learning curve. The event this year is giving a chance for Tasmania’s microbreweries to produce and provide their product the wider community in a safe and enjoyable environment. The event hosted eleven local breweries and cider producers and promoted the local industry in an interactive and interesting fashion; there was a gold coin donation on the door and tastings through the event.2014 I ran this event alone and now consider it a success. From Midday till Six the stallholders consistently sold their product with many selling out and some returning to their breweries to collect more stock. There was almost 2000 people through gates in the six hour period and the volunteers/producers involved made the experience an unforgettable first event.
