Daylyy Campus Ambassador
-
Aug 2022 - Present
Daylyy is a new app that is ultimately rewiring social media. Daylyy is a place for social media users to casually share pictures and videos like a daily content journal. Daylyy is unique because they are not interested in the edited, polished final product that social media users usually post on their other platforms. As a brand ambassador for Daylyy I will be using my marketing skills to market this new form of social media to the University of South Carolina students. I also plan events on and off campus to help promote Daylyy and to encourage social media users to download and use the app. Show less

Intern

May 2021 - Present
During the summer of 2021, I had the amazing opportunity to work as an intern at S.A.F.E. (Security, Athletic Facilities & Events) Management. This opportunity has helped me learn all about the Sport and Entertainment Industry regarding security for these types of events and has given me beneficial hands on experience. The types of events I worked in a Supervisor role with S.A.F.E. Management include the Black Eyed Susan and Preakness races, University of Loyola Maryland graduation, Towson Graduation, the Naval Academy graduation, and MIAA Lacrosse games. On events days I would be in charge of a group of employees and would ensure that the section of the event I was assigned to had proper security for all patrons. On non-event days I would work tirelessly in the office recruiting new employees, organizing and sorting payroll as well as organizing resources for upcoming events. Show less

My twin sister and I created a Greek Apparel line for sororities and fraternities as a branch of our Dad’s screen-printing company during the Covid Pandemic. I started working for my dad full time at his warehouse as soon as we all were sent home from school and began to learn how to work the embroidery and screen-printing machines. I work as a sales and advertising representative which requires reaching out to sorority chapters at universities across the country pitching our brand to them and why they should choose us over alternative companies in such a competitive field. Created and administered both Instagram and Facebook profiles for BDGreekLife, a greek apparel line through Maryland Screen Printers, Custom Solutions. Monitor and reply to direct messages and emails coming through to the social media accounts. Design and create graphics. Organize photoshoots to keep the social pages and website up to date with the latest merchandise. Maximize profits by promoting products to Greek Communities through social media with discount codes and discount bulk order deals. Use communication skills to interact with sorority and fraternity chapters via social media and email all over the country. Show less
