I had the opportunity to teach chair aerobics (60-84 yrs) for a senior community center. The group would meet three times a week and exercise for an hour. Each class we would focus on warm-up, balance, aerobic conditioning, strength training, and stretching. I had the opportunity to teach chair aerobics (60-84 yrs) for a senior community center. This experience was through Minnesota State University. The local hospital would send cardiac rehabilitation patients that were in their Phase III part of their program to work with an Associate Professor's Course called Cardiac Rehabilitation. The course had each student in charge of instructing and implementing exercise programs made for three Phase III patients. It was a fun and enjoyable experience that led me to work as an intern for Immanuel St. Joseph's--Mayo Health System. This experience was through Minnesota State University.
