The Wheel maximizes the amount of equipment that can be transported by providing a secure storage area inside the Wheel, as well as on top. Using a revolutionary, patent-pending design, cargo stored inside the Wheel remains stationary and secure during transport. In addition to moving supplies, casualties can be quickly evacuated over difficult terrain while simultaneously carrying necessary medical supplies inside the cargo area. The Wheel can transport litters of different widths, which can be attached with quick-release locking clamps. Stokes baskets can also be attached by using height risers that work with the quick-release clamps. Alternatively, built-in attachment points can be used to secure irregular stokes baskets or other bulky equipment via ratchet mechanisms. By quickly adjusting the handles to become support legs with quick-release pins, the Wheel also transforms into a secure tabletop or extra hospital bed that allows first responders to conduct medical, CBRN, or other procedures in the field or downrange. This allows responders to perform their work without crouching, resulting in greater efficiency while reducing the musculoskeletal injuries that can result from performing these tasks on the ground. Depending on the features you select, the Wheel weighs approximately 60 lbs. and can carry a load of either 300 or 600 lbs. For example, the Wheel is designed to work with either a single or double tabletop which expands the available field work surface, as well as one or two pairs of handles. Show less
