Bio
Brett Limoges
Bridget is an excellent supervisor to work under. She provides great support to all those she manages, and teaches sustainable & valuable skills in doing so. From the smallest detail, to the overarching plan she ensures that all those she supervises are well equipped with the resources needed, or teaches how to seek out those resources. If you go to her with a problem she wont take it and solve it for you; but instead will work with you to ensure the solution will be suitable for the client and also a valuable learning lesson for you. No matter what the experience level one has when put on Bridget's team, she works closely with them and makes the time to prepare them for success and makes sure they are doing their job adequately and prioritizing as they should be. She is not afraid to provide constructive criticism to those she supervises, but also provides the needed motivation for her team members to succeed. As a junior account person, I am learning skills and characteristics from Bridget that I know will be sustainable throughout my career. I honestly could not ask for a better supervisor and hope that someday I can pass on all the valuable skills she is teaching me.

It may seem grandiose, but working for Bridget completely changed my career trajectory. I first worked for Bridget at Rauxa Direct, where she molded me from a new college grad to a bona-fide, functioning professional. She had high expectations, but she also made herself available as a constant resource with every tool needed to succeed. She provided honest, constructive criticism more productively than I've seen in any job I've had since. I enjoyed working for her so much I then followed to DMS Marketing, where, even in the midst of chaos, she was a shining example of calm, encouraging leadership. If I still lived in Southern California, I'd like to think I'd still be working for her. Instead, I'm trying to be the kind of supervisor she was for a team of my own. It doesn't seem as much in typed words, but I can't say enough to convey the value of having Bridget on your team. She never asked more of me than she would of herself. If we stayed late, she stayed late. If I made a mistake, she helped me fix it. If I needed a mentor, she was there. She is fiercely protective of her team - and because of it (~8 years later), she's still the single person I point to when asked about my workplace influences. If you have her on your team, count yourself lucky. If you don't, you'd do well to get her.
