  The Foot Care Academy is raising the standard of foot care delivery in Canada. Working abreast with other educational institutes and groups across the country, our advanced foot care and diabetes educators provide the training needed to registered nurses and registered practical nurses based on clinical practice guidelines for foot care, infection control practices, and the health information protection act.We offer a comprehensive five-day professional development program, combining level 1 and level 2 training as well as practicum in our robust program. We are proud to offer the most in-depth and involved training currently available for nurses, onsite our Pickering location or, at various long term care facilities throughout Ontario. Our reasonably priced program fees include the cost of textbook, workbook and equipment. Each Foot Care Academy graduate earns a certificate upon successful completion of the Basic, Advanced and Diabetic foot care program.
