Bridget worked with me at Power With to develop our consultancy offer. Her positive attitude and solution-focused approach made her a pleasure to work with. Bridget went above and beyond her responsibilities and was always willing to help out others. During her time at Power With, Bridget managed a consultancy project for Healthwatch England, which we delivered in partnership with Expert Citizens. This project included designing and delivering focus groups with lived experience volunteers towards the development of a toolkit and case studies of existing good practices. This important work meant the views of people with experience of facing inequality were at the core of decision-making.

Positivity is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Bridget. I have had a pleasure to work with Bridget for about 1.5 years at Deloitte. Bridget’s ability to make relationships effortlessly was not something I had seen before and had made a key difference in our client relationships, team’s collaboration, and productivity (given we were all working remotely due to COVID at that time). She is a quick leaner, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand. Still miss her positive energy in the team meetings. Bridget will be an asset to any team.

As a Health Economics Policy Advisor, I analyse the inherent relationship between health and wealth; how healthy populations foster both economic growth and sustainable economies. Based in Westminster, I lobby government through national reports and discussions that illustrate the National Health Service as the nation's greatest economic asset and highlight how we can harness its power to revolutionise the health and care system whilst tackling health inequalities and economic disparities… Show more As a Health Economics Policy Advisor, I analyse the inherent relationship between health and wealth; how healthy populations foster both economic growth and sustainable economies. An intersectional, human rights approach to health allows me to delve deeper into health issues experienced solely or disproportionately by a certain population, and accentuate areas where disadvantage is classed, racialised, aged, abled, and / or gendered. I am particularly passionate about making the world a better place for women and girls, and am kicking off a policy project that will illustrate the links between investment in women's health and wider economic prosperity. Power With was founded as a direct response to the disempowerment and dehumanisation that can be faced by people experiencing homelessness if not treated as equal partners when accessing services. Power With exists to put those with lived experiences of homelessness at the heart of policy design and service delivery.
