      Together with fellow students from the Breda University of Applied Sciences (Urban Planning), the University of Wuppertal (Civil Engineering) and the Bern University of Applied Sciences (Traffic Engineering) I participated in a mobility project. The Municipality of Bellinzona challenged us to change the use of the busy road Viale C. Ogliati connecting Bellinzona and Giubiasco. The road is car oriented and disregard the confort and security of pedestrians and bikers. To ensure a more livable as well as sustainable future a switch needs to be made to a more active mobility oriented road. We used different built environment strategies and concept like tactical urbanism, green corridors, active public space and more. Teamwork played a big role in this project interdisciplinary.
