Subject: Effects of phosphate deficiency on phospholipases and membrane transporters in sorghum and petunia Supervisor: Dr Pierre-Emmanuel Courty - IPM unit Inorganic phosphate (Pi) is an essential nutrient for plants, involved in many metabolic processes. However, many cultivated soils are deficient in Pi. Thus, the study of key genes involved in the transfer, utilization, remobilization and recycling of Pi within the plant would provide a better understanding of the mechanisms… Show more Subject: Effects of phosphate deficiency on phospholipases and membrane transporters in sorghum and petunia Supervisor: Dr Pierre-Emmanuel Courty - IPM unit Inorganic phosphate (Pi) is an essential nutrient for plants, involved in many metabolic processes. However, many cultivated soils are deficient in Pi. Thus, the study of key genes involved in the transfer, utilization, remobilization and recycling of Pi within the plant would provide a better understanding of the mechanisms developed by plants at the physiological and cellular level in relation to Pi availability. During my internship, I studied the effects of Pi deficiency, but also the effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis on Pi mobilization and recycling. I studied key genes whose proteins are involved in Pi transport at the plant or cell level, as well as in Pi remobilization and regulation. Subject: Protective effect of β-aminobutiric acid against infection induced by Aphanomyces euteiches in peas Supervisor: Pr Sylvain Jeandroz - IPM unit It is known that the use of plant defense stimulators can effectively control certain pathogens by stimulating plant immunity mechanisms. This is the case in many plants, where watering with β-aminobutyric acid (BABA) reduces the symptoms of several diseases During my internship, I evaluated the protective efficacy of BABA against… Show more Subject: Protective effect of β-aminobutiric acid against infection induced by Aphanomyces euteiches in peas Supervisor: Pr Sylvain Jeandroz - IPM unit It is known that the use of plant defense stimulators can effectively control certain pathogens by stimulating plant immunity mechanisms.
