Brianna is an incredibly driven individual and genuinely seeks to use her hardworking mindset to positively impact those around her. Her many strengths include her ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, critically thinking about all sides of an issue at hand and extending empathy and understanding to those around her. She exhibits exceptional time management abilities and finds many avenues to fulfill her passions for community service, learning new skills and refining existing strengths, and connecting with those around her. I strongly believe Brianna will a valuable asset to any team and know she will impact many lives.

I was a member of the First Year Innovation of Research Experience Program: Risk Management and Resilience Stream. I worked as a team of 3 student researchers who spend 3-9 hours a week conducting research on Risk Management and Crisis Communication. Our project was centered around understanding the role of Twitter in the Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication model in times of a natural disaster, specifically the 2016 Winter Snow storm ’Snowzilla’.
