Brian Fox is the leader you need. His work is superb, he has integrity, he’s outstanding at collaboration, and he’s a delight to work with. Without question Brian is in the top 1% of people I’ve ever worked with. Some examples: He led innovation for the San Francisco school district, empowering hundreds of teachers and leaders with powerful techniques to redesign curriculum, instruction, professional learning, and school models. When covid shut down in-person learning, Brian and his team – in just a few weeks – launched a daily educational broadcast that helped keep students learning, thrilled teachers and parents, and won national recognition. With San Francisco Peer Resources, Brian rose from being a school site leader to directing the entire organization, managing >40 people and an annual budget of over $1 million. He raised tens of millions in public and private funds to not only sustain Peer Resources, but also scale its impact to benefit tens of thousands of students. Brian has also been deeply involved in environmental justice and stewardship, and is the right leader at the right time to help any company or organization take on the challenges of climate change. I would hire Brian for any leadership role and to get any tough, important job done. You’ll thank your stars you did.

Brian has leveraged his position in SFUSD to elevate Climate Justice throughout our district. We have had the opportunity to co-facilitate interdepartmental work with diverse stakeholders in the world's most pressing crisis. His commitment, passion, organizational skills, and humility make working with him a dream filled with inspiration. He takes his role as a lifelong practitioner of antiracism very seriously. Any team would be blessed to collaborate with Brian.

We designed physical classroom spaces, comprehensive school models, performance assessment systems, a district climate justice action plan, and a district instructional vision so that all of our students can graduate ready to thrive in the 21st century.
