We (the younger planners within our company) joined The Caddie Network and signed up for Brian Foster’s The Future Financial Planner Program last year in an effort to change the relationship we have with clients money and to focus on our client. The Future Financial Planner Program taught us what we hoped to achieve and more. The program took us through a journey of self-discovery and gave us deeper insights to understanding client relationships. Brian is knowledgeable and is purposeful with his ambition of people having better money relationships. Brian embodies Lifestyle Financial Planning and his knowledge and insights have changed us for the better.

Brian mentored me and my colleagues for 12 months as part of The Financial Caddie's Future Financial Planner Programme. It was an extremely valuable process that added immense value to my life.       I helped financial services companies manage their Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) strategy, complete a gap analysis, identify MI and create an action plan. I also delivered workshops and training programmes that challenged thinking and helped clients to understand how to implement TCF in their business. I left to move away from 'regulatory' work to focus on helping financial planners develop a stronger client experience.       MDPFS is an IFA business owned by accountancy firm Michael Dufty Partnership in central Birmingham. I was recruited to manage the business after the previous IFA sold its interest and left the business struggling with post Global Financial Crisis problems, primarily as a result of not treating its clients fairly. I resigned my position to start my own financial planning firm when it became apparent that there was a complete disconnect in the views and vision of the shareholders.
