Harvard Global Health Institute Summer Fellow

Conducted research on epidemiological patterns of COVID-19, specifically identifying relationships between key socioeconomic factors and access to essential food/medical services. In particular, utilizing R and Python to create hierarchical linear models and writing paper on significant findings showing linkage between socioeconomic inequality and resource access patterns as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Presented proposal to Science Department Head, Principal, and Director of Activities in Junior Year, wrote 9-page chapter constitution & application, organized service projects to conduct monthly water-testing with the Colorado Department of Wildlife, provide science tutoring, outreach to elementary students, and pick up trash before school. In two years, grew organization to one of the largest clubs on campus.
