I ensured comprehensive intermediate aviation maintenance support for rotary and fixed wing aircraft from different type model series encompassing over 1,300 aviation depot level repairable components and 1,289 separate pieces of support equipment, including 4 separate Consolidated Automated Support Systems (CASS), the Navy’s premier automatic test system for electronics and avionics. As MMCO, I forged an exceptionally professional and responsive maintenance team to lead in today’s Navy, building an agile, more responsive force through continuous process improvement. Developed and successfully executed a comprehensive plan to revitalize maintenance production efforts, while achieving cost efficient readiness. Provided extensive training and guidance to the AIMD team, directly resulting in 35 of 35 programs graded as “On-Track” and 58 of 59 drills and practicals graded as “SAT” during Aviation Maintenance Inspection. Managed 89 Sailors in the completion of 8,029 maintenance and calibration actions, earning 3 consecutive Measure Outstanding Activity awards for calibration readiness.
