If you want to be the first to know about the latest technology or classroom apps, Brian is your guy. Brian is always just a step ahead and uses his knowledge to share with the rest of the teaching world. He has provided our most raved about social media content and he leads our Facebook and Twitter channels. Brian also crafts our back-to-school lessons and leads our webinars. His work is praised by teachers across the world.

I had the privilege of working with Brian while serving as a Senior Curriculum Developer for Teachers’ Curriculum Institute. Brian is energetic, curious, thoughtful, and professional. While we worked in different divisions of the company (I in development and he in implementation), Brian immediately impressed me with his attention and dedication to understanding the way our products were developed, and how this process ultimately benefited his customers. He took the initiative to cultivate cross-divisional relationships and working opportunities so that he could provide feedback and ask questions about the decisions that were made regarding pedagogy and content. I greatly appreciated that he went out of his way to share with developers his sales and training success stories so that we knew what curriculum was working well once in the hands of our customers. Brian also took it upon himself to engage in ongoing professional development – often on his own time – to gain insight into new educational trends. He was experimenting with and learning new Web 2.0 tools for teaching before many other folks in the company. He continues to generously share his wealth of experience and knowledge with colleagues and teachers. He recently published online, for example, a free guide for teachers that takes them through their first week of school set-up. Not only does it provide concrete and accessible strategies for a successful start, it also gives practical ideas for how to integrate Web 2.0 tools thoughtfully and seamlessly into the classroom. It is my great pleasure to recommend Brian, and I would not hesitate to work with him again.
