I have worked two summers with the Village of Germantown's engineering department, and have helped design multiple road projects, involving surveying, AutoCAD and on site assistance and inspection. In addition, I often must interact and assist with residents to answer questions and inform them to the best of my knowledge. I interned at Collins Engineers Inc for the summer of 2015 and gained extremely valuable knowledge while I was there. I worked on the Zoo Interchange as a site engineer, inspecting various construction crews. I worked with storm sewer, paving, inlet adjustments and barrier walls. I kept a very detailed journal of what I was inspecting, as well as documented any ticket quantities.
