Brian was my supervisor and mentor as a Festival Administration intern and took special time to instruct me on Adobe Suite programs, especially AfterEffects and InDesign, which I hadn't been well-versed in previously. His teaching was supportive, fun, and very applicable/effective, and he quickly trusted me with working on documents that would make a big impact at the Fringe festival. Orlando Fringe was my first time interning anywhere, to gain graphic design experiance in a real life professional setting, so of course I was nervous initially. But Brian here made this internship into more than a wonderful experience. He was an excellent mentor when he taught me the dos and don'ts of graphic design that I still apply to this day. Not only that he is also a great friend, I still remember our conversations about our common love for Star Trek. I recall how I always look forward to coming to the internship because it was always a blast hanging out with Brian and learning from him.
