Responsible for the ongoing operation and all facets of the distribution center, reporting to the corporate office; Reduced expenses by 20% each year. Regular cycle counts, inventory control, annual physical inventory with RF scanners. Purchased from vendors: negotiated rates, created purchase orders for all supplies for facility, required maintenance products, all logistics, inbound / outbound. Coordinated all logistics with sales staff, distributors, carriers & end users. Assure all products are fully functional and in operational order for shipments, inbound / outbound, thus repairing, rebuilding, replacing, refinishing, etc. Regular maintenance of facility: first aid, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, alarm system, lights, computers, safety programs, etc. Computer input of all job tickets, purchase orders & shipping documents. Maintain and train staff regularly on all updates and changes, computer entry of payroll. Organization and cleanliness of warehouse, updated as often as possible. Show less
