Currently I have been employed for 8 months as a sales associate in the flooring department. Working here has taught me how to work as an individual as well as a team as most of the time you are left alone in your department to work on what you see fit. This showed me how to be independent and make decisions based off of what I sought fit as well as orders I was given by my manager. Working here also gave me experience with customer service either helping with on the phone orders or in person helping them find what they needed for their project.

. For 5 years I worked as a manufacturer polishing granite using equipment such as forklifts, polishers, and water saws. As a manufacturer I had to pay close attention to details on the blueprints making sure I was accurate with my cuts as necessary for the customers demands. This position showed me how to work with power tools as well as pay close attention to detail. .
