It is with great pleasure that I am able to recommend Brian Pfotenhauer and Timberline Landscapes as my preferred landscaping contractor based on our experience at Blu CitySpaces Condominiums. Our firms have worked together for over a year in a developer-contractor relationship on a challenging multi-phase project in downtown St. Louis. With each phase, Timberline’s employees have proven to be exceedingly reliable and capable of completing tasks as scheduled. Our particular project encompassed a full range of challenges in an urban environment including landscape design and installation that also incorporated existing plantings, a hardscape task involving removal and replacement of tiered retaining walls in a difficult below-grade location, planning and installation of an irrigation system, and the installation of sidewalk street trees that involved coordination and approvals from a quasi-governmental agency. On top of all that, Timberline not only met the challenge, but was able to meet our very tough scheduling requirements so that the project was ready for multiple launches of marketing campaigns. Brian’s experience allows him to anticipate situations that can arise on a job site and deal with them up front. He excels at communicating with his client and regularly follows up. In a large-scale, multi-tasked redevelopment project such as ours, his follow up gave us great piece of mind that the job would be completed as promised. I feel that Timberline Landscapes would be an asset to any client that chooses to engage their services in the future.
