As a physical LNG Optimization Analyst my main responsibilities included maximizing and protecting the value of BG Groups LNG portfolio. Day to day operations included liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure all commitments and contracts were met, generating the schedule for the fleet, providing shipping cost analysis for long term deals, and informing the traders of the optimal cargoes for spot sale opportunities. It is worth noting that this interaction took place over three offices in different time zones.
