      Full responsibility and control of the welding department on 2 projects running simultaneously in the yard. Exxon mobile Blade project and Chevron Phase 59. 400 + welders and 35 supervision in the welding department. I was maintaining records for allocated manhours, change of work orders. Also developing and mentoring my team to follow my daily welding progress spreadsheets. Working with welding engineers to get PQR and WQT’s done first time for both projects. Estimating and ordering of all welding consumables to complete the 16 modules fabricated in the yard, 2 jackets, 4 boat landings, pig launchers & risers. My scope of work also included frequent visits to our subcontractors Emco, Haep Sing and KPW. Having to conduct & participate in Quality/HSE investigations and audits for potential scope of work awards to subcontractors. After all welding & NDT was completed, I was then assigned to the position of module co-ordinator for two of the biggest modules to have it fully completed with no carry over work, ready for load out including painting, insulation, E & I, equipment and wash down. CVX phase 59 consisted of 2 horizontal jackets, boat landings, refurbished topside and various subsea spools and risers running at 0% repair rate. Show less
