Brooks Automation provides robotics and automation solutions to semiconductor fabs. RFID and IRID are used for tracking and processing silicon wafers transported in cassettes carriers and FOUPs. RFID readers are incorporated into Brooks’ load-ports, EFEMs, Sorters and FOUP washers and are sold to top tier semiconductor tool suppliers. Primarily LF and HF RFID is used at this wafer level in the semiconductor fabs. Brooks Automation provides robotics and automation solutions to semiconductor fabs.
